Wapiti was during the middle of the 1990s a bookstore, a café and a meeting point for the autonomus movement of Lund, Sweden. Wapiti is today a webshop, but aspires to be much more. All the people who aid us and contribute with new ideas and concrete help are a part of Wapiti.
Wapiti wants to be a part of the rebuilding of a proud and radical working class culture. A culture that does not let itself be defined by political organisations or subcultures. Our contribution to this is to manufacture and distribute material that keeps a high standard, politically as well as aesthetically. Wapiti wants to be everywhere where the working class is and works with non-political as well as openly political projects.
Wapiti spends all profits on keeping items in stock, manufacturing new material as well as organising and participating in political and cultural events.
